Stop Smoking in One Session and make a fresh start.

Tired of smoking outside in the freezing cold and shivering? Tedious isn’t it?

Smoke Free Law
On July 1st 2007 smoking was banned in public places, causing a shift in smokers habits. All enclosed and substantially enclosed public areas, including restaurants; pubs, cafes and bars are now smoke-free. All work vehicles are now smoke free and the penalty for smoking in a smoke-free area is a £50 fixed penalty fine.

The new scientist has reported on a recent study by the University of Iowa covering 72,000.
Smokers/ex-smokers from America and Europe. It concluded that hypnosis is the most effective way of giving up smoking. (New Scientist Vol 136). Proof that more and more people are choosing hypnotherapy to stop smoking.

Nearly 9 years ago the Which? Report concluded that of all the methods available for stopping smoking, hypnotherapy was the most successful, and the only one with no cravings, no irritability, no bad temper and no weight gain.

The Facts

  • Smoking is the biggest killer in the UK.
  • Half of all smokers die from smoking-related diseases and most are not quick deaths.
  • About 106,000 people in the UK die each year due to smoking. Smoking-related deaths are mainly due to cancers, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and heart disease.
  • Smokers that continue to smoke beyond middle age are 80% more likely to suffer from severe anxiety or clinical depression than that of a non-smoker.
  • Tobacco Smoke contains over 4,000 different chemicals - 81 of which directly cause cancer, so most are poisons and toxic.
  • 24% of adults smoke in the UK and 12% attempt to quit at least once annually.

Smoking increases stress and anxiety
Contrary to popular belief that smoking calms you down are untrue, it actually makes you more stressed mentally and physically and causes stress and anxiety. Nicotine is a stimulant, a drug that is inhaled from tobacco in cigarettes, once in your bloodstream it affects your brain chemistry releasing certain neurotransmitters within seconds of inhaling the toxic smoke. Your heart rate and your blood pressure increase and your blood vessels constrict and this immediately affects your blood composition and metabolism and causes overproduction of hormones.

A cigarette gives you a two minute fix of dopamine (brain chemical that feels good) Initially, you feel good but when the blood levels of nicotine fall you experience withdrawal combined with 48 hours of an agitated nervous system and the satisfaction is only met by a nicotine 'top up', this is when you reach for another cigarette due to your brain craving the chemical 'hit' and you smoke another cigarette in order to feel normal to avoid the unpleasantness of withdrawal and so the cycle continues...

How does Anti Smoking Hypnotherapy work?
Many people turn to hypnotherapy to help give up smoking because everything else they have tried has failed, Even if you have tried to stop before, there is good evidence to show that the number of failed attempts to stop smoking is a good predictor of final break through and a testimony to the effectiveness of hypnotherapy being so successful.

Smoking is all in your mind...
You are all fully aware of the dangers that smoking has on your health so why can it be so hard to give up? 70% of the quarter of the UK's smokers consciously want to give up so why do they have difficulty in consciously doing so? Well, it is not hard to work out that it is the subconscious that promotes your need to smoke. For those who struggle to give up this battle between the conscious and subconscious minds argument is weighted in favour of the subconscious where your habits and patterns and behaviours are stored.

Addiction only accounts for 10% Physical and 90% is in the mind. Using hypnosis I can access your subconscious mind directly create a new subconscious template and remove any triggers that cause you to smoke and tip the balance in favour of the conscious argument and give you the power to quit once and for all without experiencing any unpleasant withdrawal symptoms.

Further research from The New Scientist speaks for itself; it has shown that single session hypnosis increased a smoker's success chance by 1000% from 6% to 60%. Here are the success rates for different smoking cessation methods:

  • 60% - Single session Hypnosis
  • 24% - Acupuncture
  • 10% - NRT (Nicotine Replacement therapy) Gum, patches, inhalers, lozenges and sprays
  • 6% - Willpower alone.

Copy Success
Over the years, I have successfully helped many people quit the smoking habit, from a 65 year old 60 a day smoker of 30 years, to a 25 year old 10 a day social smoker of 10 years, the amount and duration you smoked in the past is irrelevant however the benefits are clear and evident once you stop:

  • after 8 hours carbon monoxide is eliminated from your body
  • after 24 hours your lungs start to clear out the debris and mucus
  • after 48 hours you are NICOTINE-FREE!! Taste and smell improves.
  • after 72 hours breathing becomes easier and you will notice you will have more energy
  • after 2 to 12 weeks circulation improves and exercise gets easier
  • after 3-9 months your lung function is improved up to 10-20%
  • after 5 years the risk of heart attack and lung cancer falls to half that of a smoker.

Almost nine out of ten (88%) of smokers state that they want to quit because of a health concern. After health reasons the next most common reason given for wanting to give up is a financial one: just think of the savings you could make:

  • 1-Day £5.20 A movie rental or a few magazines
  • 1 Week £36.40 A Cheap flight or a few CD's
  • 1 Month £156.00 A Shopping Spree or the monthly food bill
  • 6 Months £936.00 A Family holiday, a personal computer or some new furniture

Break the habit
Hypnotherapy is able to access the subconscious mind to fine tune your mind and remove your desire to smoke, which makes it so much easier for a smoker wanting to quit smoking.

It is totally safe, fast, low cost, incredibly effective and powerful, providing that your intent is to want to give up smoking the battle can be won if you are 100% committed to giving up. Research shows that with hypnotherapy you are at least five to fifteen times more likely to succeed than by willpower alone. Give yourself the best chance to quit that you will ever receive; are you ready to be a non-smoker?

It only takes 1 session lasting between 1½ to 2 hours to become a non-smoker. Includes and back-up CD. No initial consultation is necessary.
